Productivity- at -work : One large or two smaller monitors?

I work on manuscripts writing , editing and reviewing. This involves constant opening of many windows, copying, cutting, pasting, going back and forth between windows etc….
Now, with this in mind and to be more productive, Do you prefer working using one large or 2 smaller monitors ?

I would say one big monitor, at least a 22".
