over work habits and pain point for startup stress management?
i personally feel most of the startup company(including the ones i once work for or co-founded with) is unable to understand the time cannot be equate with productivity, and particularly creativity, they want to seize more hours out of the workers, to make them more productive, but the truth is, diminished efficiency of working dramatically surpass the sheer quantity of hours that is actually merely sitting there
could anybody show me a proof from how the psychologists say, as well as a survey of roughly how many small companies usually have such an habits
Clearly startups and small companies have a need of high productivity. However, I agree with you that they often confuse time worked with actual productivity. Most people cannot be productive beyond a certain point and it’s important that people get downtime. It is difficult to be innovative when mentally or emotionally exhausted.
