o System capacity planning installations, modifications or enhancements
Say you were me, and you were interviewing for this job, what product knowledge would you want to mention while in this interview? I’m not sure what products they are using currently, except that they have mentioned linux and SAP a lot.
This sounds like a project management role.
o Evaluate the potential impact of system modifications or enhancements
>> This means figuring out what your changes will do when they are done. Hopefully the changes will be good. You then have to figure out what "good" means.
o Establishment of performance metrics and service-level objectives
>> This means figuring out what things you want to have to measure progress on the projects, and what goals you want to hit.
o Implement system performance measurements and monitoring statistics
>> This means figuring out how you will actually measure the progress and what kind of data you will take. The step above it "what" and this step is "how".
o System capacity planning installations, modifications or enhancements
>> This means knowing what actually can be done. How much work will fit in the cycle, or how many people it will take, or how many things you will need to get the job done.
Seems less like product knowledge and more like how you go about making products.
